Smeaton’s Tower – Now in Tanners, Plymouth

Incoming Front - at Tanners Plymouth

I’m excited to announce that the Smeaton’s Tower exhibition has moved to Tanners Restaurant in Plymouth following a successful first exhibition at Bistro One.

The Tanner brothers are renowned for their fantastic food and this is in my opinion one of the best restaurants in Plymouth.

Night Watch - at Tanners Plymouth

Chris and James Tanner have achieved celebrity status due to their appearances on a number of popular television food programmes.

Tanners is housed in the oldest surviving domestic building in Plymouth, the Prysten House. The house was built in 1498 on land purchased by Thomas Yogge, a prominent local merchant.

The original stone walls provide a fantastic setting for the canvases as you can see from these hastily taken photos.

Smeatons Tower in a different light

I am pleased to announce that I will exhibiting a series of photos I’ve been working on over the last year or so at Bistro One in Plymouth.

The exhibition is titled “Smeatons Tower in a different light” and will be running from July 2nd 2011 through to the end of August.

If you haven’t eaten there before I can highly recommend Bistro One for its fantastic local food and amazing selection of wines. Many thanks to owner Stephen Barrett for kindly letting me exhibit.

On Friday 1st of October I am taking part in an exhibition at the arts centre in Plymouth with some talented artist friends. I’m going to be displaying some of my landscape work including the photo below which I took whilst on honeymoon the other week. There is more information here.

I will be shortly putting together a minisite from which prints and canvases can be ordered. You can check out some of the other artists work on the following websites.
